The brewery calls this a "very different pilsener". Well, it is. Why? Because it isn't a Pilsener. It is an American lager with adjuncts (probably corn). They probably call it a Pilsener because most people think that Bud is a Pilsener, when it is an adjunct based lager and is it's own style.
Don't believe me? Compare a Pilsener Urquell with a Bud and see what the difference is.
Grupo Modelo says that this is their second most popular beer, and I don't doubt it; it is everywhere in the States. It was also the first beer produced by the Modelo Cerveceria in 1925.
